Our staff are trained in each role to the highest standard of Food Safety and Product Integrity. The management of Macadamias Australia shall encourage continual improvement through motivation and the supply of resources. Maintenance comes under one of our prerequisite programmes and forms part of a continual improvement system for the site.

Quality Management has the full support from all personnel – Macadamias Australia is committed to its successful maintenance and implementation. It is of entire importance that staff adhere to Quality Management and its protocols, and this is understood by all personnel.

Training is encouraged with a “hands on” or “on the job” approach and therefore all procedures are referred to during the training times. Annual assessment (or an induction for seasonal workers) is carried out on each staff member to evaluate the level they are at. This information is then worked into a personal and professional development plan, whereby staff can target areas that are required for advancement. Performance appraisal takes place after the assessment and then a discussion is held with the staff member to decide what goals need to be worked towards in the following six months.
